My little Max turned one on Friday. My parents and Luke and Patty and Kelly and her kids came down. We went to lunch and then to a pumpkin patch in Elsinore where we got to pick out our own pumpkins and the kids got to go on a bumpy, dusty, windy little train ride. Gwen rode with Grandma Patty on the train and told her "We have to shut our mouth-es." (I guess so dirt didn't get in your teeth.) Then we went back to our house and had mummy cake and pumpkin cookies. It was nice to have our families here for the day. Thanks for coming everyone and for the presents! Max got a whole new winter wardrobe and a few toys that Gwen won't let him play with. The Browns came and stayed with us that night so it helped ease the sadness of all the family leaving. When they got here we met them at Wal-Mart and when we pulled back up at the house Gwen said "Mom, Daisy can stand now!" She has been walking for probably a year now.
