Memory Tag

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

I'm glad to see you're doing the memory tag! Remember when we marched in the Days of '47 parade? We had to stand and wait for hours. The backs of our legs got sunburned. The next day at the BBQ (with the pickle juice) you were wearing shorts that were shorter than your band shorts and sandals. You had two bright red rectangular patches on the backs of your legs! Remember how bad our feet hurt after spending all day at Lagoon in our band shoes?! Good times! You are such a fun girl!

I have so many memories with you! I loved laying around on saturdays watching Friends videos because we didn't have cable. How about when we dated Kasey and Robby and then just decided one day to stop calling them! That wasn't very nice, but it was pretty funny. I remember cleaning out your car for you and going to aerobics and being so embarrassed that Joey was watching (at the time I didn't know he was watching you!) I'm so glad I had a part in you guys getting together!

I remember when we were little and you guys lived with us and we would put on plays and play house. I had so much fun and looked up to you guys so much! I also remember when you asked me what S-E-X-Y spelled and I told you and you said, " Uh Oh. I am going to tell your Mom that you said that word." I was so scared. Good times.

sorry- that got all messed up. Your husband served in our ward as a missionary. my mom cut their hair all the time and he would play with my brothers. i think they went hiking with us once too...he was a good missionary. my brother learned a lot from him. you both have a beautiful family!

Being birthday buddies, you and I have shared a lot of parties, especially when you lived in Logan. I always felt kind of bad for you that you had to share with someone so much older but you were always so nice about it. I won't share my memories of all your diapers I changed and how many times you spit up on me!

You can definitely add me to your blog. I'm not sure if you still want to know because Joey can probably tell you, but my maiden name is Battles. I lived in Befair\Bremerton when he was teaching me the discussions.
Here is a quick recap/conversion story of the past 6 years (sorry if its long):
I was baptist. I had a friend who was a member and the gospel discussions were never ending. I think one day, I finally decided to let the spirit teach instead of just trying to be right. That's when I decided I needed to talk to these "missionaries". The spirit was strong and I knew from the first discussion from the missionaries (Elder Carlson) that what I was hearing was true. I wasn't able to join the church right away because my mom was very against it. So I decided to move in with my dad (he at least let me go to church). I eventually was able to be baptized after getting civilly married to a guy Joey did warn me about. It didn't work out, he had other priorities, but I had the true church. I didn't let it get me down. Not long after I met Eric from BYU-I. About a year later we were married in the I.F. Temple and things have been great since! He is finishing his bachelor's at ISU. We are currently the ward mission leaders. It's great! I love the calling! Can I just say I am so grateful for missionary work, the gospel of Jesus Christ, and the temple. The joy and strength it brings can help you through anything.

I do have to admit that I don't remember the night you referred to on my blog so I am assuming I found what I was looking for. I do remember one night a few of us stayed out in the trailer you and Sarah lived in...don't remember much of what we did so it must have been a good night....haha.

I just remember girls camp and you telling us scary stories and two of them scarred me for life, even though they are not that scary now that I am older! One was about some giu that had to walk on his hands and had really long nails that went click click! Ha Ha! Good times at girls camp! It was fun seeing you today also! Your kids are so cute!
