The Big Day

My little brother Layne was married to his high school sweetheart on Saturday in the Manti temple.

It was a very blustery day.

Here are a few more pictures of all my hard work.

All 6 siblings.
At the temple we ran into a family from our ward. I was surprised at where they thought I fit into the sibling order. Most of you will know this, but if you don't know the family, who do you think is the oldest? Where do you think I fit in? Not that I fit in at all, but I'm talking about age here.

Tell me...

How did you meet your spouse? (Or boy/girlfriend)
(I didn't say WHERE, I said HOW...that is all inclusive...so don't leave out the where, but expound on it.) Is expound a word or did I just make that up? It's almost 4 a.m. give me a break.

Who did Layne marry? I'll say you're the third child. The best place to be!

I met my hubby while we were on the internet.

(He was actually sitting next to me in the CBB at CEU. It just sounds cooler if I say it was over the internet.)

He was a shy guy. He wouldn't talk to me, so I talked to him first. I blogged about this whole experience. I think the blog post was called "How It Happened..." and it was sometime in August, if you want all the juicy details.

Oh, and I still need your mailing address!

I know where you fit in! You are the third child. Melissa is the oldest and Luke is the youngest, do I get a prize? I love your cake, we need to get together and talk cakes. I think you know how I met Rory, so I won't go into the juicy details.

I would say I'm the oldest...because I'm almost 30 and I feel OLD. I guess I cheated at this game. I met both of my ex-husbands through my mom actually....thanks mom! Haha. J/K I love both of those dudes....I think I'll stick to the internet dating sites from now on....haha.

why are you up so late? Erik and I met at a party where we all threw our keys in a circle. We ended up going home together and thats how it really happened.

I am so glad I got to come to the wedding and see everyone. The cake you made was beautiful. You are so talented.

Chris and I met on a blind date. Steph and Josh set us up. He hadn't dated much and so he was really shy. I didn't know if I would see him again, but then Aunt Leslie invited him over for dinner the next day and he spilled red punch all over her tablecloth! What a great way to start out.

Weddings are so sweet. I LOVE your cake. I'm so impressed. I've seen so many of your disasters on your blog that it was fun (and, I'll admit, a little suprising) to see something turn out! You're third. Sorry, I know at least that much about your family....:D

Could it have been any windier without a tornado warning? I'll remember to wear a long skirt the next time I'm in Manti. Your cake was fantastic. Very impressive.

Kent and I actually met when I was 12 and he was 18 but we don't remember each other from Dennis and Leslie's wedding. We met again after his mission when he came with Leslie and Dennis to Montana and we rode around with Dennis and Leslie while they tried to sell "House of Lloyds" products to stores. We flirted in the back seat while we were tending Nathan and Stephanie.
