There is an ant infestation in my strawberry patch!!!  What do I do?

On a similar note...how and when do you pick broccoli?

ants won't eat your strawberries have the bug guy come out and spray your foundations that usually works

But they ARE eating them!! I picked one and it was all hollowed out and full of them. I just had a bug guy come and spray on Monday. Maybe he missed that part of my house. Come on...you have tricks for everything.

I get ants all the time in my house and the best thing to get rid of them is called Terro. It really works. And it's cheaper than the bug guy.

Terro Ant Bait changed my life.

I have no idea, but your strawberries look tasty!

You can cut off the edible part of the broccoli anytime after it looks like the broccoli in the store. When its still small, the flavor is best (in my opinion) but it will get larger (and not much less tasty) in time. If you wait too long, it will go to the next stage (little blossoms will form) and then the flavor really suffers.

Dad's eye picture scares me.
I have ants all of a sudden too, I am going to try that Terro stuff.

There was one really BIG ant in my strawberry plants. I call him "Grant" and he happened to pick all the ripe ones and smash them into the ground!
