The Magic of Easter

This year my mom planned a big interactive Easter egg hunt for the kids. She taught them all about the "magic" of Easter. I'm pretty sure the point of the whole thing was that presents and candy are NOT the magic of Easter. But Gwen informed me the other day as she lovingly remembered that wonderful egg hunt that she knows now that the magic of Easter is toys! Sorry Mom, better luck next year.

WHAT THE??!! No money in this one??

Maybe next year i won't ruin the "magic" of easter by having an indoor easter egg hunt because it was unseasonably cold in St. George and maybe I won't bum Haylee out by talking about death and resurrection. Gwen is right, it was the toys that saved the day after Nana told the sad story.

Yeah. It is a sad story, isn't it? Hooray for toys.

I thought it went off without a hitch...I appreciate my mommy's creativity, Emily's patience, and Suzy's ability to capture it all on film :)

Daisy is always trying to find bottles that will turn her hair pink.

You are so good at editing photos and stuff. I am hopefully going to get photo shop for my birthday.

Who are all these children? These aren't all your parents grandkids are they? It's sad how little I know your family, although I read through your mom's blog posts tonight and now I know her a little better. And it scares me. . . ha, ha. Just kidding.
