MWF seeks workshop buddy

I am going to attend a workshop in Salt Lake in February.

I don't want to go alone.

I hate doing things alone.

Anyone want to join me?

You can check out the detail at nicholev.com.

She is amazing.

Here are some shots from a ghost town giveaway that she did this summer. I really really wanted to win. I was even going to buy a new wedding dress. Oh well.

Tell me: How did you like your wedding photographer? What was the best thing they did? And what annoyed you about them?

I would totally love to go with you. I love Nichole Van! Unfortunately I am super poor right now and can't afford the registration fee. Bummer! I would love to hear how it goes though. Ü

The most annoying thing about my photographer was his personality.

I got married almost 58 years ago. Do you really want to know?

Oh, and I love your new blog background!

Patty...of course I want to know. Do you want me to post some of your wedding pictures? I could if you wanted me to.

My wedding photographer had a baby the day we got married. I realize this is a good excuse for missing it, but shouldn't you send someone to take your place?

All we have from our wedding are snapshots from whoever gave us copies of the pictures they took. All of this was before digital awesomeness.

At least we got our money back!

Natalie!! That is horrible! Next time I hear about a wedding photo-shoot redo contest I will tell you. You totally would have won that contest!! How sad!

Haha Elyse! I especially want you to answer. But send me a message on facebook. I don't like public criticism. I am sooo sorry that you had to have me as a photographer. Lets get all dressed up again...well just you and Dale and redo it after the workshop. And your mom should come too in the same dress she wore. Since we didn't get pics with her. Once again...sorry. I love you.

My photographer took great pictures, she was just very unprofessional on the business end. Don't get me started, don't even get me started.

Seriously, I would love to go to this with you. But really, $1100? At first I thought it was $110 and I was like yeah sure, but I did a double take. I'm not a pro like you, that would make this a very expensive hobby for me!
My wedding photographer was really nice. I felt way rushed with him and he showed up late to the temple. We sat in the little room waiting to come out for like 10 minutes. I know time is money, but don't rush a bride. I also felt like he wasn't very creative, just traditional. We got great shots, but I see stuff now and I'm blown away!
A funny thing though, when we got married Ryan's sibblings were 1,2, and 5. We had pics with them on our laps. It looked like we already had 3 kids!

My wedding photog was my dad. He did a great job for back in the day.
I miss him so much.
He would love to go to that workshop with you and I would pay for it if he was here.

Mom...will you just pay for Luke to go with me then?

You couldn't see Hayden in half of our wedding pictures, but hey, it's cool. He can't help being so dark and I think my glowing whiteness threw things off a little. Good times.

I liked that I could afford my photographer. But I agree with Shauntel. More creative and less traditional. Anyone can take a picture of two people standing next to each other in front of the temple, right? In retrospect, I would have paid more for someone I really liked instead of just picking out the cheapest guy I could find. Oh well.

you know my thoughts on this already. I tried to sell my husband and someone returned him. Oh well, I tried.
